Uncover the essence of Patagonia and explore two South American capitals on this journey through Argentina and Chile! Explore the vibrant neighborhoods of Buenos Aires before heading to El Calafate to see the amazing Perito Moreno Glacier. Cross the border as you head to Puerto Natales, gateway to the Torres del Paine National Park. Finally, discover Santiago, surrounded by the snow-capped Andes.
1st Day: US - Night on board
It's time to set off on an unforgettable adventure through two South American countries! Arrive at your US departure airport ready to check in for a flight to Buenos Aires. Night on board.
2nd Day: Buenos Aires
Touch down in Buenos Aires, a sprawling city, full of colonial architecture and vibrant, Argentinan culture! Transfer to the hotel, get settled in and spend the remainder of the day getting to know this exciting city at your leisure! Check out its atmospheric tango clubs, excellent restaurants and bustling shopping streets. Overnight stay in Buenos Aires.
3rd Day: Buenos Aires
Breakfast at the hotel. Set off on a 3-hour city tour of Buenos Aires today! Known as the 'Paris of South America', visit the glamorous neighborhoods of Recoleta and Palermo and see Plaza de Mayo and the famous Casa Rosada government office. Visit the Metropolitan Cathedral and explore the unique architecture of trendy Puerto Madero. Step back in time to San Telmo, known for its renowned antique market, held every Sunday and stroll along Caminito Street, in the colorful neighborhood of La Boca. The remainder of the day is free to explore Buenos Aires at your leisure. Overnight stay in Buenos Aires.

4th Day: Buenos Aires
Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day at your leisure, revisiting your favorite spots in the city, enjoying the city's green open spaces or discovering the capital's fantastic shopping opportunities. Overnight stay in Buenos Aires.
*Optional Half-Day Excursion to the Tigre Delta: Explore the Tigre Delta on a boat tour, enjoying the islands and the local lifestyle of the Río de la Plata. Visit the fruit market, Victorica Avenue, and the Tigre Art Museum. Return to Buenos Aires with views of the Monumental Stadium and the University City.
**Optional Fogón Asado Dining Experience: Discover the tradition of the Asado. Enjoy an 8-course tasting menu that explores new ways of serving Argentine classic cuts. While sitting in our bar, you will see and experience different cooking techniques on the grill in a close and personal way.
5th Day: Buenos Aires - Calafate
Breakfast at the hotel. Continue your Argentinan adventure today as you transfer to the airport for a short flight to El Calafate, a town at the edge of Southern Patagonia, and the gateway to the incredible Perito Moreno glacier! Arrive, transfer to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure exploring the town and sampling the unique cuisine on offer in this other-worldly region of Argentina! We recommend an optional meal at Asador La Tablita tonight!* Overnight stay in El Calafate.
*Optional Dinner at Asador La Tablita: La Tablita, a Patagonian tradition since 1968, is a restaurant of encounter, tradition and innovation where you can taste the delights of Argentina. A few blocks from the commercial centre of El Calafate, you can enjoy a varied menu of authentic dishes.
6th Day: Calafate
Breakfast at the hotel. Journey to the amazing Perito Moreno, the most famous glacier in the world, on a full-day excursion. The only advancing glacier in the world, begin the day with a walk through the Patagonian Andean forest, stopping at the Curva de los Suspiros viewpoint to take in your first sighting of the Perito Moreno! Next, walk also a series of walkways to approach the glacier up-close and take in the panoramic views of this wonder of nature. If you are lucky, you may even see blocks of ice breaking from the glacier and plummeting into Lake Argentino below! Next, board a boat at Bajo de las Sombras Bay to enjoy a boat trip to contemplate the sheer natural beauty of the glacier's wall, a truly unforgettable experience and a highlight of any trip to Patagonia! The most adventurous cannot miss out on a mini-trekking experience on the glacier itself.* At the end of the day, return to your hotel and overnight stay in El Calafate.
*Optional Glacier Mini-Trek: Experience nature and adventure on a mini-trek across the ice of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Passing through the port "Bajo de las Sombras", cross the walkways of Los Glaciares National Park in front of the lower Rico Lake.
NOTE: Although there is a bar in the park, we recommend bringing a box lunch on excursions to avoid wasting valuable time in the park (you can request it at your hotel one day in advance, at an additional cost).
7th Day: Calafate
Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day at your leisure, exploring the surroundings at your own pace or simply relaxing and enjoying the facilities of your hotel. You'll be captivated by the landscapes of this abundant region. If you want to know more about the glaciers, head to the Glaciarium Patagonian Ice Museum! Alternatively, we recommend an optional Glacier Cruise or an excursion to a traditional Estancia.* Overnight stay in El Calafate.
*Optional Glacier Cruise: Begin with a navigation along the North Arm of Lake Argentino. After crossing the Boca del Diablo towards the Upsala Channel, arrive at the Spegazzini Base where you can enjoy the incomparable views of Glacier Bay and explore on foot.
*Optional Estancia 25 de Mayo Excursion: The Quincho Asador Parrilla, located in the centre of La Estancia 25 de Mayo, is the perfect place to experience authentic Argentian culture! Relax and contemplate the landscapes at the foot of the Cerro Calafate.

8th Day: Calafate - Puerto Natales
Breakfast at the hotel. Your adventure continues today as you transfer to the bus station to catch a shared bus service to Puerto Natales (Bus ride takes aprox 5 hours), crossing the border into Chile and admiring the beautiful landscapes of Patagonia along the way. Arrive at Puerto Natales bus station and transfer to the hotel. Once settled, take some time to explore this once modest fishing port. Make sure to see the pretty corrugated tin houses and cozy old-style lodgings as well as enjoy the international restaurants and cafes overlooking the Señoret Channel. Overnight in Puerto Natales.
Please note: Depending on availability and operations, the bus schedule can be either confirmed at 8:00 am or 16:30 pm. Information and details of the schedule will be provided 15 days prior to departure.
9th Day: Puerto Natales
Breakfast at the hotel. An unforgettable day awaits as you explore the world-famous Torres del Paine National Park today, an icon of Chile's natural beauty and loved by adventurers around the world. Set off into the landscapes of Southern Patagonia, stopping along the way at the Milodon Cave, an amazing natural monument where the fossilized remains of an extinct ground sloth were discovered in the 19th century. Continue into the national park observing the picturesque Sofia Lagoon, Cordillera Prat, Porteno Lake and pristine natural landscapes. Take in the views and snap some photos at the Gray Lake Viewpoint, and walk along the shore of Gray Lake. After a short rest stop, continue into the Salto Grande sector of the park to visit the Nordenskjold Lake Viewpoint, Paine Waterfall and Amarga Lake. Enjoy the amazing untouched wilderness and soak up the fresh air. The last stop, at dusk, is the Sarmiento Lake Viewpoint, for an unforgettable view as the sun begins to set. Return to Puerto Natales. Overnight stay in Puerto Natales.
10th Day: Puerto Natales
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and spend the day at your leisure. We recommend visiting the local history museum and enjoying the sea views across the islets and inlets from the unique Hand Monument. Take some time to stroll along the waterfront and soak up the tranquil atmosphere of this beautiful city and its breathtaking surroundings! We recommend an optional cruise on Grey Lake.* Overnight stay in Puerto Natales.
*Optional Grey Lake Boat Excursion: Head to Torres del Paine National Park to board the ship 'Gray III' and cruise on Grey Lake, taking in the unparalleled landscapes of floating icebergs and imposing mountains with an included pisco sour cocktail!
11th Day: Puerto Natales - Punta Arenas - Santiago
Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, transfer to Puerto Natales bus station to catch the bus to Punta Arenas Airport, a journey of approx. 3 hours. From here, catch a flight to the Chilean capital of Santiago. Arrive in Santiago and transfer to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the beautiful city which is surrounded by Andean mountains and boasts a charming historic centre. We recommend strolling around the colonial centre and people-watching in one of the many cafe terraces. Overnight stay in Santiago.
12th Day: Santiago
Breakfast at the hotel. Start your adventure by taking part in a guided city tour —everything from the “Sanhattan” skyscrapers to the old-world colonial architecture in a captivating fusion of old meets new.
Begin the tour at the hotel. Walk down the city’s main avenue, visit the cobblestoned streets of Lastarría, known for its colonial mansions, get lost in the beauty of Santa Lucia Hill and stop by a panoramic viewpoint to gaze across Santiago and learn more about the city's history. From there, head over to the Plaza de Armas, home to the Cathedral of Santiago (the former national congress), the imposing government house La Moneda and the Plaza de la Constitución.
Finally, stop by a Lapis Lazuli store where you can purchase one-of-a-kind jewelry and unique handicrafts to take back home with you. Transfer to your hotel and overnight stay in Santiago de Chile.
